Eric Sprott: Silver Is Investment Of This Decade

Eric Sprott of Sprott.com and James Turk, of GoldMoney Foundation, talk about how there isn’t enough silver in the silver market to back existing “paper silver” commitments. Sprott thinks that “silver will be the investment of this decade”.

Eric Sprott has accumulated 40 years of experience in the investment industry. After earning his designation as a chartered accountant, Eric entered the investment industry as a research analyst at Merrill Lynch. In 1981, he founded Sprott Securities (now called Cormark Securities Inc.), which today is one of Canada’s largest independently owned securities firms.

Eric Sprott, who runs Canada-based Sprott Hedge Fund and who recently launched a silver fund. The fund entered the market and bought 1 million ounces of physical silver. It took the fund nearly 10 weeks to acquire the targeted lot. This gives you a good hint on the actual supply of physical silver.
